3G 3.0.1 - contact phone munber to name ...

Has anyone notice on the iPhone 3G that has been upgrade to OS3.0.1 that the contact name to phone number resolution is a bit screwy?

My iphone will do the following

If a contacts phone number if set to the long format (international) ie 6427 123456789 it will resolve there name in SMS

Calendar stopped synching with Exchange ...

For some unknown reason, my iPhone calendar is no longer recognized by our university's exchange server. It had worked for months then I began noticing that certain items would appear on my desktop computer (Windows, MS Office, Outlook 2007). Now it no longer recognizes any calendar events..i.e. my iPhone calendar is completely blank. Outlook on the desktop works just fine, mail continues to synch between exchange server and iPhone but calendar does not synch at all. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the account, restoring iPhone. Nothing helps.

Syncing just one 'group' of contacts ...

I've just bought a 3GS iPhone and have transferred the contact numbers from my SIM card to the iPhone.

However, I use Address Book on both a MacBook and an iMac - the entries in these are not always identical. Is it possible for me to 'sync' just one group of contacts from the Address Book on my MacBook to my iPhone and then another group of contacts from my iMac to the iPhone? If any of these contacts have partial details transferred from my old SIM card will that mean I have duplicates or does the iPhone recognise that the SIM has only transferred, say, one contact number and will then go ahead and complete details for email address and home address?

Sorry if this is a very basic question but I don't want to end up with lots of duplicate entries and couldn't find the answer elsewhere

Contacts Alphabetic Tab - Not working ...

Hi,

I have a 3G running 3.0 the alphabetic tabs on the ride side of the Contacts window only work thru the letter E the rest don't respond at all. I tried a hard reboot and a software reinstall.

Any ideas? THANKS

hi!
i am trying to transfer my contacts from my old phone to my iphone. my mac address book is not installed or i might have deleted it a while ago. now i don't know how to transfer the contacts as a vcf file to my iphone.
maybe someone can give me a hint how to reinstall the mac address book or show me some other way to transfer contacts.

Outlook Calendar Events ...

is it possible to accept a calendar event on the iPhone? I received one yesterday and was not able to "accept" it to put it on my calendar like I was able to when I had a blackberry.

Two iPhones, two accounts, but I need ...

I recently sold my old iPhone and got a new one. Through an unfortunate series of events I lost all the contacts on my new phone. I borrowed the one I sold (which still had my contacts on it) and synced it up with iTunes. That went fine but when I plug in my new phone it syncs but none of the contacts sync with it. I think because the phones have different names, it wont let me get my numbers. Is there a way to go from iphone to vcf card or just a way to view the contacts that I synced into iTunes? The most frustrating thing is knowing that I have those contacts and not being able to get to them.
