email icon shows how many unread emails you have.
phone icon shows how many missed calls/voicemails you have.
text message icon shows how many new texts you have.
app store icon shows how many updates are available.
facebook app icon shows how many new notifications you have.
why can't the calendar icon have a little red bubble on the top of the icon showing how many events are scheduled for today? i've missed a few birthdays cause they are set for "all-day" and i don't have a reminder set up for them. it would be nice to look on my home page and see if i have something planned for the day. I'm also one that doesn't regularly look at my calendar so it would be perfect for those random events that pop up that could be easily forgoten.
just an idea. or maybe it's already an option and i'm just making myself look silly right now. any thoughts?
