Suddenly my iPhone 3G has decided to jump out of the Mail app (back to the main icon page). After finishing 'Checking for mail' the screen freezes for a few seconds (e.g. can't select or scroll) then it exits to the main icon page. It does this every time I try to go into 'Mail'.
I have not installed anything recently, Apps or Software. Nothing has changed (by me anyway) since working perfectly and now. And as far as I can see it is only 'Mail' that is affected.
I am running SW version 3.1.2
