Ok, I've looked through all the other threads - of which there are many - and tried all options thus far - still no good.
Here's the situation.
On ical on my imac, I have just 1 calender - called 'work'.
I have a mobileme account, and up until recently only synced my iphone via cable and itunes.
I now have numerous duplicated events on the iphone.
If I look in 'Calender' on the iphone, then at the top left oft he screen hit 'Calenders', I see that I have 3 'work' calenders.
If I just access 1 of the work calenders, great, but I can't therefore be sure that's the one that's synced!
Also, when I go into 'Settings' - 'Mail Contacts Calenders' - and access my 'me' account, when I turn 'Calenders' to 'On', it tries to then turns 'on' to 'off'!
I deleted the account, and then reinstated it and now 'Calenders - On' is fine, but the calender itself is still a triple version!
Aaargh!
