I've just experienced the (apparently known by Apple) software corruption issue that was preventing the phone from hibernating, causing extremely rapid battery drain. A very helpful Apple Store employee got it cleaned up, but advised that I must sync to iTunes as a NEW phone.
I use Microsoft Exchange Server for work email and calendars, but previously also had the original calender that was on the iPhone from day one. I use that calendar for personal appointments, reminders, etc., that I DON'T want on my work server/calendar (nosey employees) After this re-sync as a new phone, that calendar is gone. I need it back!
