Hi all,
Me and a friend both have an iPhone:
I have the generation before the 3GS, a 16 GB model and I have MobileMe subscription
My friend have the new 3GS and does not have MobileMe but syncs via iTunes
My friend and I both organized all our contacts the other day. You know made phone numbers appear in the right fields, grouped them via Groups and Auto-Grouping and just kinda tidied the whole AddressBook up on our Macs via AddressBook.
My friend then asked, after Syncing a couple of times and some trial and error, if it was true there were no way to see the groups in the Contacts App on the iPhone.
Of course there is, I replied and looked at my own Contacts App. And there were NO "Groups" button in the top right corner, but I was sure I'd seen it there!
I then looked through Settings but made no changes, and went back to Contacts to really verify this "oversight" And POP - suddenly there was the "Groups" Button! Very strange, but OK it's there now.
But no matter what, we can't get it to show on my friends phone.
We're both on the latest update (3.1.2 7D11) and on Telia network in Denmark running Danish Language on out phones. So the only difference is:
the generation of phone,
and the fact that I have a MobileMe subscription.
Is it really a fact, that one can only see the "Groups" button in Contacts App if one has a MobileMe subscription? If so, it seems kinda poor of Apple to limit that functionality, and I can't believe it to be true.
So can anyone verify this, or have anyone seen the "Groups" button "be gone" and then suddenly appear? Or is there a setting we totally missed both of us, in looking for about an hour If so, we're not really great at looking for stuff he he Or of course it could be a bug in 3.1.2?
Anyone have a solution for my friend, it would be greatly appreciated, thank you all in advance!
