Hi,
I am on 3.1 from day one on my 32GB 3Gs.
Yesterday my iPhone did not switch off the background light, turned somehow hot and unloaded during one hour coming from over 50% residual power.
This morning, my mail app started behaving somehow crazy. Fist it says "cannot send mail no recipient" and then it crashed.
I tried everything, even deleting the one account (it is one out of three accounts, 2 imap 1 mobile me).
Deleting helped crashing but obviously not solving the problem. As I reinstalled everything, the app crashed again...
Maybe someone from apple can help on that problem?!
btw: the pulldown for OS does not offer 3.1
